hey.  been a while since i've updated.  still working behind the scenes.  always pushing behind the scenes.  

added a few more creepy eyes to my already posted eye study. prob update that in the near future.

also, started work on girl 1.0.  nothing great done yet.  lil over 2 hours of work.  feeling pretty good about where she's going.  think i got a lil more pencils to do before it start shading in.  i've got the reference pic over here if you wanna take a look:

Back?  Good.  I sorta get the feeling, I'm dragging my feet on finishing her.  Ever get that way?  Weird feeling.  

Anyway...I'm gonna do it!  She will be finished.  Oh, yes.  She will.  Hopefully this time next week, she'll have a finished titled.

Work continues on what I'm calling Bride 4.  I'll probably post an update after I do some more work on it tonight.  So, look for a new pic in the near future.  I know.  I know.  Try and contain your excitement.  It's embarrassing.

Other than that, I have done much with all the copic markers I bought.  I'm getting there.  I'm getting there!  There's only so many hours in the day!

Nonononono.  I'm still here.  Still working.  Just haven't created anything that I feel is worth while posting.  Mostly working on "hand studies".  Started a new bride sketch, that I seem pretty happy with so far.  If I make any progress with it tonight, I'll post it as a WIP in the nearest future.

It's pretty interesting.  Seems like a good solid theory/motivator that I'm trying out.  Hopefully being consistent will help me produce more stuff to post.  Hopefully...

So, yea.  10 colors weren't enough.  Go figure, right?!?!

So, your friendly neighborhood jman just ordered 9 more.  I know.  I know.  I know what you're thinking.  You're thinking:  "My friend, I don't know what sun you're living under, but that ain't enough either."  Ok, look...if that's what you're thinking, do you gotta make it so personal?  I know it's not enough, but Rome didn't burn down overnight.  Or...wait, maybe it did.

Anyway, after looking at the price of a tube of paint these days (it's gotta be at least 6 years since I've bought a tube of paint.  watercolor, acrylic or oil)...7 bucks a tube?!?!?  Holy crap!!!  I didn't feel so bad spending $5.50 on a marker.  So, more colors are on their way!!!

Been working on some sketches, nothing I really want to post.  Hopefully I'll have something to post come Monday that ya'll can totally ignore.
